Popeye’s Village

Popeye Village, situated in Anchor Bay, Mellieha is the only still standing film set in all of Europe. Popeye Village, built in 1979 for the musical movie POPEYE is nowadays considered as a live tribute to the late Robin Williams, the actor who played the one eyed sailor – which coincidently was his first movie that made it to the big screen.
