Located along the waterfront of Spinola Bay, Gululu is one of the best places on the island to taste favourite local dishes, such as Stuffat tal-Qarnit (octopus stew), Aljotta (fish soup), Fenek (rabbit) and the Maltese Ftira (similar to the Italian pizza).
Gululu has launched Malta’s very first Pulpetterija. Pulpetti are to the Maltese what polpette are to the Italians, boulettes to the French and burgers to the Germans. Fishermen friends ensure that the restaurant has a selection of fresh fish always on offer. Diners are invited to sit outside on the water’s edge for a snack or light meal and to gaze dreamily at the bobbing fishing boats whilst enjoying the sea breeze and bustling activity all around.
