The Stone Crab

The Stone Crab restaurant is located in a unique spot in the picturesque fishing village of Xlendi Bay Gozo: At the water’s edge and sheltered by high rising adjacent cliffs.

The premises date back to the late 90’s.  It was a garage where the boats of the family of Mr Bernard Cutajar were kept.  The premises eventually were bought by one of Mr Cutajar`s granddaughters, who now manages and runs the restaurant.

The restaurant opened its doors for business in June 1990.  Over these two decades, the restaurant has gained popularity and has become a favourite among locals and regular visitors to Gozo.

The Stone Crab specialises in local and Mediterranean cuisine.  It also serves a variety of delicious fresh fish dishes, including crab as one of its most popular and recommended dishes. Besides fish, the restaurant also serves a variety of platters, salads, pasta, meat and pizza.
