The Stone Crab

The Stone Crab restaurant is located in a unique spot in the picturesque fishing village of Xlendi Bay in Gozo, at the water’s edge and sheltered by high-rising adjacent cliffs.

The premises date back to the late 90’s. It was a garage where the boats of the family of Mr Bernard Cutajar were kept. The premises eventually were bought by one of Mr Cutajar’s granddaughters, who now manages and runs the restaurant.

The restaurant opened its doors for business in June 1990. Over these two decades, the restaurant has gained popularity and has become a favourite among locals and regular visitors to Gozo.

The Stone Crab specialises in local and Mediterranean cuisine. It also serves a variety of delicious fresh fish dishes, including crab as one of its most popular and recommended dishes. Besides fish, the restaurant also serves a variety of platters, salads, pasta, meat and pizza.
