Mark Zerafa, or Zeri (his school nickname), took to cooking and preparing food at a very early age, descending from a maternal family line of chefs.
After gaining experience in Malta, he then ventured abroad for work experience in Holland, London and other European cities, and also travelled to Thailand, Mauritius and Seychelles to gain fresh ideas of other cuisines. On returning, Mark opened his restaurant where he formulated his own ideas, menus and the use of unusual combinations of different foods.
Zeri’s Restaurant is situated in the very up-market and sought-after area of Portomaso with spectacular views of the open sea and marina. Mark and his team provide consistency in excellent food, service and innovative dishes to their regular clientele in a relaxing and tranquil ambience to satisfy the most discerning of tastes.
The restaurant provides gluten-free meals and vegetarian dishes on request (preferably one should notify on booking).
The restaurant has a seating capacity of 65 covers inside and 22 covers outside. A small bar area is used as a waiting area. Wheelchair access is available through the Portomaso car park which is situated in level -2 lower. Parking for diners is free.
